J. Steven Bird – Proprietor and Chief Developer

Beginning his career as an electronics designer and fabricator, Steve has a great working knowledge of hardware that gives him an advantage when it comes to writing software.

As his talents evolved, he acquired a proficiency in more than ten languages including Delphi, C++, LabVIEW, and Java, and continues to broaden his scope as new approaches develop.

For most of his career, Steve has worked with mechanical engineers, scientists and other professionals in a broad spectrum of the industrial sector and has gathered a huge store of mathematical, mechanical and scientific knowledge.

For the past 25 years he has been specializing in a wide array of data acquisition systems, data communication methods, and mechanical modeling techniques. His experience runs the gamut from highly specialized digital modeling of piping acoustical responses, real time sound analysis, to an automated control system for a small town water supply tank.

Steve’s greatest asset as a programmer is in getting to the heart of your concept, problem or inspiration, and translating your thoughts into working computer tools that are effective and easy for you to use.
